Terms
Last updated October 31, 2026. The short version of how Finspect works and what you agree to by using it.
What Finspect does
Finspect reads the bills you give it, points out charges that look wrong or changed, and drafts emails you can send to the vendor. You decide what to send. We never contact vendors for you.
Check before you dispute
Finspect uses AI to read bills and can misread them. Each alert shows what was read so you can compare it with the bill. Look before you dispute or withhold a payment. Finspect isn't legal, tax or financial advice.
Plans and trials
There's no free plan. A trial starts with a code we give you, lasts the number of days shown, and is one per account. When it ends, your saved checks stay, but checking new bills needs a paid plan. Plan limits are on the pricing page.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and only upload bills you're allowed to share. Don't try to get at other people's data, overload the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your data
Your bills stay yours. You give us permission to process them to run Finspect, as described in our privacy page, and you can delete them at any time.
Limits of our responsibility
Finspect is provided as it is. We aren't responsible for amounts you pay or don't recover, or for decisions you make based on an alert. If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change takes effect. You can stop using Finspect and delete your account at any time.
